Meet The Band

Matt Normington

Matt is the lead vocalist of Fracture. Having joined the band in early 2011, his power vocals have shaped the direction the band has taken since. Once upon a time a classically-trained choirboy, life's journey took him from angelic youngster to the rocker he is today. A vocal tone that can range from melodic southern rock through to a gravely growl.

Influences - Ronnie James Dio (Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio), James Hetfield (Metallica), Ronnie Van Zant (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Rickey Medlocke (Blackfoot), Bon Scott & Brian Johnson (AC/DC).

Previous bands - Mal Practice & The Sick Notes, My Bad My Good.

Best Gig Ever? - Pretty sure the best is still to come, but there have been many, many amazing ones..

Equipment Used - A trusty Shure SM58 microphone.

Favourite Songs - Love Ain't No Stranger (Whitesnake), Blind Man (Black Stone Cherry), Turn the Page (Metallica/Bob Seger), Last in Line (Dio), Diary of a Workingman (Blackfoot), For Those About To Rock, We Salute You (AC/DC), Wild Side (Mötley Crüe), Gimme Shelter (Rolling Stones), White Room (Cream).

Life Message - To play a wrong note is insignificant. To play without passion is inexcusable.
